DSC Pharmacy Bangalore fee structure

DSCE Bangalore is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. The Institute has large infrastructure supported by laboratories with state-of-the-art, Equipment & Machines. The campus has WIFI equipped with large bandwidth internet. The College has good faculty strength with high experience and commitment to academics with transparency in their actions. Each faculty takes the responsibility of mentoring students’ through personal attention paving the way for the students’ professional growth. Recently Institution has secured the highest no. of Ranks for the entire University (VTU). Grants Received Rs 284 lakhs for 36 projects funded by ISRO, DST, DBT, and DRDO. The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is committed to producing a fleet of knowledgeable, skilled, talented and competitive professionals in the field of pharmacy.

The department offers 4 years of undergraduate (B.Pharm), six years Pharm.D degree program and two-year masters degree program in various branches along with the doctoral program in pharmacy. The school comprises a well-established infrastructure and a highly qualified faculty. In order to provide best pharmacy education the college has full-fledged laboratories. It has a well equipped modernized analytical laboratory, machine room, and a well maintained animal house. The department also has an excellent digitalized library facility with a numerous number of books and renowned national and international journals also.

Faculty members are involved in various research activities, organizing seminars, conferences, and workshops -which helps the student community to get an exposure to the ongoing developments in their pertaining fields.

DSCE faculties and students are constantly involved in path-breaking research activities. DSCE follows the ethical principles that should underlie any research endeavor. Researchers here take on real-time problems, think innovatively and bring in novel solutions, to advance knowledge and make a meaningful contribution to society.

B.Pharma :

Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and English with Mathematics or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects with 40% marks min. in aggregate Lateral: Diploma holders from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.

D.Pharma :

10+2 examination passed with Physics, Chemistry and English with Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects / DPharm or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the PCI.

M Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology & Pharmaceutics)

Candidates should have passed B.pharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with 50% marks minimum.


The main areas of research are :

Analytical process development & Validation of various pharmaceutical Dosage forms.
Synthesis of Heterocyclic compounds as anticancer drugs,
Extraction, Isolation & Characterization of Phytochemicals,
Phyto-chemical and Pharmacological screening of various biological activities such as anti-diabetic, anti-ulcer, anticancer, wound healing activities etc.
